WHAT IS YOGA FOR WATER?

“Yoga For Water” is an event which will be held in participating yoga studios, throughout California and beyond on August 29 th 2015.  Our goal is to raise awareness and funds to help transform the lives of 1500 families, by giving them access to clean drinking water through one of our solutions.  We are grateful to our friends who are helping make this event possible like 21 Drops, Harmless Harvest, Soaptopia, Wanderlust, Whole Foods, YOGA Journal and many more.

 

HOW TO GET INVOLVED?

All Yoga Studios can get involved by holding a donation-based class or day at their own studio. After joining we are going to send you a WELCOME KIT. You can send us message and we will contact you. Easy Right?

    Support this cause by practicing yoga at one of our participating studios on August 29th, 2015 (Studio list below).

    Post your best YOGA POSE wearing a blue t-shirt to raise awareness for this cause: CLEAN WATER. Tag La Mission Por Vida using the official hashtag #YogaForWater,  for the chance to win some cool prizes.

    WHAT IS YOGA FOR WATER?

    Yoga For Water is a one day fundraising event where yoga studios in California and other states will come together to make clean water possible for people in need by holding a donation-based class or day at their own studio.

    WHY SHOULD OUR STUDIO GET INVOLVED?

    Being a part of Yoga For Water gives you the opportunity to join the Yoga Community by helping families in need of clean drinking water in developing parts of the world like Central America, Africa, India and many more.

    WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AFTER YOGA FOR WATER

    With Yoga For Water we will raise funds for our next projects to provide 1,500 families with one of our LMPV filters. As small as these filters may seem, they’re capable of filtering 500 gallons of water daily removing 99.99% of the bacteria in the water. With a life span u to 10 years, every family having one of these, will have 3,650 days of more education for their children, a better health and a better quality of life. In other words, a better future.

    HOW CAN I TRACK MY DONATION

    Each project funded by YOGA FOR WATER, will have a list of each yoga studio who help made clean water possible for that community on our completed project map.
